Former Full professor of German Linguistics at the Univeristy of Modena and Reggio Emilia and Lecturer in German as a foreign language at the Univeristy of Zurich. Main teaching and research interests: Biological and institutional conditions for learning, Language development, teaching speaking and writing in German as a mother tongue, as a second language and as a foreign language, language policy.
