Ersilia Incelli was awarded the national qualification for Associate Professor in 2013. Her research interests lie in discourse analysis, corpus linguistics, socio-linguistics and intercultural communication, particularly within the fields of ESP/EAP, and academic, media, and professional discourse. Her most recent publications include, “Engaging students in multimodal literacy practices in a university ESP context: towards understanding identity and ideology in government debates”. Special Issue ‘Multimodal approaches in ESP: Innovative research and practice’. Multimodal Communication (De Gruyter). She was managing editor for the 2017 and 2018 editions of the Annals of the Department of MEMOTEF (Sapienza University Press), a research journal of the Faculty of Economics, Sapienza.
