Judith Turnbull is a foreign-language assistant at the Faculty of Economics, Sapienza University of Rome and has been awarded the Italian National Academic Qualification as Associate Professor of English and Anglo-American Language, Literature and Culture, Group 2013. Her research interests include discourse analysis applied to the fields of economics and law and cross-cultural communication, with a particular focus on websites. Over the last few years she has been working on the linguistic and cognitive devices adopted in the dissemination of economic, legal and medical knowledge. She has published extensively and has recently co-edited with Rita Salvi “The Discursive Construal of Trust in the Dynamics of Knowledge Diffusion” (2017).
