Miriam Bait holds a research and teaching position at the University of Milan, Italy, where she teaches Business Communication in the Human Resources and Administration Studies degree programs. She has also taught newswriting in English in the Master of Journalism program. Her research interests include intercultural business communication, language in the media, and English for Specific Purposes. Her current work focuses on textual and discursive variations in corporate and institutional communication in English, in particular in the tourism, agro-food and nutrition sectors.
