Valeria Fiasco holds a Ph.D. in Languages, Literatures and Foreign Cultures (2019) awarded by the University of Roma Tre (Italy). She is an adjunct instructor (2018-2020) at La Sapienza University (Italy), where she teaches EAP at a graduate level at the Department of Mathematics “Guido Castelnuovo”. She also works as an assistant for the Italian L2 exams at the Language Centre of Roma Tre University. She is a consultant tutor for quantitative data analysis in national and international research projects (ENRICH KA2 Erasmus Project).  Her research interests focus on ESP and terminology in the field of fashion, economics and politics, corpus linguistics and data-driven learning, linguistic interference, assessment and evaluation. Her Ph.D. dissertation consisted of a trilingual analysis of the language of fashion magazines. She has presented papers at a number of international conferences and is an active member of AIA (Associazione Italiana di Anglistica), TESOL Italy and GLAD (Global Anglicisms Database Network), a research network about linguistic and cultural anglicization.
